We are seeking a skilled and experienced Die Setter to join our teamAs a Die Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining dies in various machines to ensure efficient production processesThis is a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, requiring strong technical skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Set up and install dies in machines such as presses, lathes, milling machines, and press brake machines Adjust machine settings to ensure proper die alignment and functionality Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine machine setup requirements Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts Fabricate or modify dies as needed using hand tools and machining equipment Collaborate with production team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machine performance Perform routine maintenance on dies and machines to ensure optimal functionality Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements:
Proven experience as a Die Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of die setting procedures and techniques Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Ability to operate various hand tools and machining equipment Experience with logic controllers, Fanuc systems, welding, or press brake machines is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team We offer competitive pay rates based on experienceThis is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth within our organizationIf you have the required skills and experience for this role, we would love to hear from youJob Type:
